UV254 is a water quality test parameter that provides a measurement of the organic matter present in water and wastewater.
Monitoring organics is essential for many water and wastewater treatment applications. This simple method of measurement does not involve the use of reagents and can be measured continuously in real-time by shining ultraviolet light (UV) light through a quartz cell that contains a representative water sample.
