Portable Gas Detector to Monitor, Detect and Protect

The D16 PortaSens innovative, versatile, portable gas detector is a handheld monitor designed to perform regular leak checks in gas storage areas, around process equipment, piping, or in confined spaces prior to entry. Using a pump to speed-up gas detection for the protection of people, the D16 also offers alarms and a data logging facility. The superior sensor used in the PortaSens lll is interchangeable between our fixed and portable devices and use an industry-leading, pre-calibrated ‘vapor’ sensor that requires an annual replacement with no calibration, increasing its efficacy. Designed for easy one-hand operation, the gas detector contains an internal sample pump and a flexible sampling wand to allow pinpoint location of the source of leakage. A touch-sensitive color graphic display provides clear concentration display and a back-light for the display ensures readability in low or no light conditions.

A unique feature of the D16 Portasens lll gas detector is its ability to measure a variety of different gases by simply inserting the appropriate sensor for that gas. That makes this gas detector capable of measuring over 60 different gases or vapors, reducing the need to purchase individual detectors for each type of gas. The gas sensors for the detector can be changed quickly and easily, and there is no need for calibration when a gas sensor is change is made.

  • Industrial Pre-Treatment

Industrial pre-treatment is a crucial stage in the water cycle, occurring before wastewater enters municipal treatment facilities. It involves the removal of contaminants, pollutants, and other harmful substances from industrial wastewater streams to meet regulatory standards and protect the environment. This process typically includes physical, chemical, and biological treatment methods tailored to specific industrial processes and pollutants. By effectively pre-treating industrial wastewater, we can safeguard water quality, prevent damage to treatment infrastructure, and ensure the overall health of ecosystems downstream.
