Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions Reduction

After two years of strong progress in reducing both our absolute emissions and related intensity, we are proud to set a new goal to reduce our Scope 1 and 2 intensity by 50% compared to the 2020 baseline. We have a multi-year plan to achieve this aggressive goal.

Badger Meter, with the cooperation of its employees, customers, contractors and suppliers, is committed to environmental management.

Sourcing Responsibly

Not only do our products enable more sustainable use of natural resources, the way we build products helps conserve resources. Every year Badger Meter uses recycled material to make our bronze metering products. Approximately 98.5% of the bronze housings used in production are made from recycled material. The primary smelter that recycles this source material run their operations with zero emissions and zero water discharge, contributing to the circular economy.

Product Quality ISO 9001 and SOC 2 Data Security

We maintain ISO 9001 certification for quality management by adhering to robust policies and procedures, which in turn builds customer trust and confidence. Our software solutions adhere to strict quality and security standards. For example, BEACON SaaS complies with Service Organization Control 2 (SOC 2) and reporting framework ISO 27001 for data security.
