UV254

UV254 is a water quality test parameter that provides a measurement of the organic matter present in water and wastewater.

UV254
UV254 measurements are a practical indicator of dissolved organic compounds in water and is a useful indicator of organic carbon content, providing operators with real-time information on contaminant levels.

Monitoring organics is essential for many water and wastewater treatment applications.  This simple method of measurement does not involve the use of reagents and can be measured continuously in real-time by shining ultraviolet light (UV) light through a quartz cell that contains a representative water sample. 

Our accurate and reliable UV254 monitoring solutions offer additional optical measurements for added monitoring capabilities and increased reliability, providing input to treatment control systems and alarming of abnormal conditions.
