Oscillating Piston Flow Meters

Oscillating piston flow meters are a type of positive displacement flow meter designed to deliver precise measurements of fluid flow with exceptional accuracy. Utilizing oscillating pistons within a sealed chamber, these meters directly measure the volume of fluid passing through by translating the piston's oscillatory motion into flow rate data. How It Works

The flow meter consists of a chamber with one or more oscillating pistons. As fluid flows through the meter, it moves the pistons back and forth within the chamber. The pistons oscillate in response to the flow of the fluid, creating a cyclic movement. The frequency and amplitude of this oscillation are proportional to the flow rate. As the piston oscillates, its center hub rotates a magnet which activates the microprocessor.
