How to Set Up AquaCUE® Flow Measurement Manager

AquaCUE Flow Measurement Manager leverages cellular network infrastructure to deliver a simple yet powerful dashboard solution to help you improve the management of your water use. Below are instructions to complete your AquaCUE setup so you can start realizing its powerful benefits:

Set Up Instructions

1. Follow the provided installation instructions to install the meter(s).

2. Install and activate your cellular endpoints according to installation instructions.

3. Gather data for each installed endpoint to fill out the installation form.

4. Check your inbox for an email containing a Starter Spreadsheet Training Manual, Sample Starter Spreadsheet and Blank Starter Spreadsheet. You will need to fill out the Blank Starter Spreadsheet and email it back to your Badger Meter training representative. (link to doc Rob emailed - TBD).

Note: Follow the Sample Starter Spreadsheet and the document titled “Understanding the AquaCUE Starter Spreadsheet” for reference or contact your assigned Badger Meter training representative for assistance.

5. We will review your Starter Spreadsheet and let you know if any changes are needed. If not, we will upload your Starter Spreadsheet to AquaCUE to begin collecting data.

6. Once your spreadsheet is uploaded, we will call to schedule your training, which will be conducted virtually with GoToTraining.

Note: At least one week’s worth of data should be logged in AquaCUE before training.

Important AquaCUE Terminology

Customer Portfolio: This is your view of AquaCUE, which shows where your meters and endpoints reside within your system.

Onboarding: This is the process of creating your AquaCUE Admin and Customer portfolio, which is typically done by the training coordinator.

Provisioning: The process of assigning a location to an endpoint.

Pre-Provisioned: Where an endpoint moves to on the Asset page once it’s been activated. AquaCUE will communicate with the endpoint but no customer information is applied.

Service Units: One service unit is equal to one month of standard service, such as an endpoint hosting fee. Service units are consumed each month as services are used. They are used for all recurring AquaCUE service fees. Service units are separate from and not linked to products.
