Badger Meter offers the latest innovations in high resolution encoder technology, providing utilities with much more than just a reading.
The High Resolution 8-dial Encoder (HR-E®) from Badger Meter uses a non-contact field-proven light emitting diode technology to provide a high resolution 8-digit reading while also eliminating the friction and wear of traditional mechanical encoders.
High Resolution LCD Encoders from Badger Meter are fully electronic, solid-state, field programmable and use industry standard ASCII communication protocols to provide high resolution encoded output.
High Resolution LCD 4-20 encoders from Badger Meter are fully electronic, solid-state and field programmable. The HR-E LCD 4-20 encoder produces an industry standard ASCII encoder output as well as an analog 4-20 mA DC output signal through a dual output wire design.
High Resolution LCD 4-20 scaled/unscaled registers from Badger Meter are fully electronic, solid-state and field programmable. The HR-LCD 4-20 scaled/unscaled register produces a scaled or unscaled output, as well as a 4-20 mA DC output through a dual output wire design.
The High Resolution Pulse scaled register (HR-LCD Pulse) is a fully electronic, solid-state register with no moving parts. These solid-state units produce a scaled output.
Whether you choose the 9-digit HR-E® LCD or 8-dial HR-E, our high resolution encoders provide utilities with leak detection and other critical information through the reading system. High resolution encoders utilize the industry standard communication protocol and do not require programming or setting adjustments during installation or wire repair.
